Silver Birch Ranch's Men's Retreats are a great time of fun, fellowship, and growth. Every year in the spring and fall, men from all over the midwest converge at Silver Birch Ranch. The weekend is filled with activities and teaching geared to meet men where they are at in life, and tackles issues that they face. Large group meetings are only the start, as life-changing messages are driven home throughout the weekend. (The minimum age for this retreat is 13.)
Retreat Speaker - Doug Anderson
Pastor Doug Anderson grew up as a son of missionaries in Haiti, then after several years in post College business, he and his wife Dawn returned to Haiti as missionaries, with Pastor Doug giving administration to a large Medical work and partnering with a Haitian pastor in planting a church. Several years of mission executive leadership and 22 years as Sr Pastor in three different churches (NJ / ND / Wisconsin) has all prepared him for his current role as Pastor to missionaries globally. Doug & Dawn have one daughter who with her husband and four young girls live in Dakar, Senegal as missionaries focusing on Muslim university students.
God-honoring manhood has been a consistent passion and focus on Pastor Doug's ministry throughout this journey. Men are a primary focus of Satan's schemes, and the battle rages for every man's personal integrity, marriage, family, career, and life legacy. Pastor Doug engages that battle anywhere in the world the opportunity is extended to him.
