Marketing Technologist

Position Type: Full-Time (Starting April 1st, 2019)

Principle Function: Marketing Technologist position is responsible for the marketing and development of all the SBR (and associated companies) brands, programs, events, publications as well as maintaining and building SBR websites. The successful candidate will have previous marketing and social media marketing experience with enough technological training to operator all of our ministry websites and IT infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the marketing of all SBR events through the website, social media, blogs, brochures and email campaigns under the direction of the Program Director
  • Oversee the preparation and publication of all program brochures and newsletters for all SBR divisions
  • Oversee the development and updating of the SBR websites
  • Work closely with the Technology Manager in developing promotional videos for social media and website distribution
  • Combine and segment SBR mailing lists
  • Assist the offsite IT manager with computer related problems on grounds (be his hands and feet)
  • Complete other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements (some not shown - see full job description): 

  • Has previous marketing and website development experience
  • Be familiar with Adobe Suite and SquareSpace CMS (or equivalent) software programs
  • Be a team player willing to fulfill the marketing expectations of the Program Director and SBR Management
  • Effective communicator that can obtain necessary information from staff to complete assigned tasks
  • Detail orientated with the ability to multi-task and full-fill deadlines
  • Is efficient and productive in a fast-paced ministry environment

Head Cook

Position Type: Full-Time

Supervises: Kitchen Crew

Principle Function: The Head Cook is accountable for the preparation and serving high quality meals on time.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and serving of meals when campers are present
  • Oversee the preparation and serving, as well as menu planning, for all NBI student meals
  • Train, supervise and delegate duties to volunteers, staff and students
  • Maintain all state guidelines, ACA regulations, and ServSafe certification guidelines in regards to food safety and kitchen cleaning/maintenance
  • Incorporation of leftovers into meals to minimize waste
  • Refrigerators, freezers, storage areas and all cooking equipment are to be kept clean and organized
  • Upkeep and oversight of the Dining Hall facility
  • Familiarity with Food Service Director responsibilities to temporarily fill the role during FSD absence
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Food Service Director
