Summer Positions

 Every year hundreds of high school and college students spend a week or more working at Silver Birch Ranch. Working at one of the many activity area, in a support role, or working directly with that campers, our summer workers have a chance to impact lives for Chirst in a way that best fits who they are. Silver Birch Ranch offers many different programs for our summer help.

Summer Volunteers positions are of one week (or multiple weeks) for those that have completed the 9th grade or older.

Counselors are accepted on a week to week basis, with preference give to those who are with groups that are attending as campers. Must be two years older then the age they are working with.

Summer Staff Members are accepted for a summer long position. Summer Staff Program is for those who graduated high school or are older. Summer Staff Members may be paid or be allowed to raise support. They are normally put in charge of running one on the activity areas of Silver Birch Ranch. Responsibilities include keeping the area up to standards, working with the Summer Volunteers for that camping session, and supporting the genreal program of Silver Birch Ranch.

TRAX is our counselor training program. It is open for those that have finished 8th grade and are thinking about counseling in the future.
