Riding Adventure Camp

The new RIDING ADVENTURE program offers the best in horse-based camping in the Northwoods for girls who have completed 6th-8th grades. Campers spend 5 hours a day with the horses. Each camper will learn basic horsemanship, tack care, grooming, saddling, barn cleaning, and have a special ride every night just for them. While RA campers are separate from the rest of the residential campers, they will receive the same Biblical teaching that makes Silver Birch Ranch so effective at reaching campers with the message of the Gospel. The RA campers will have a combination of their own chapels, camper chapel, plus daily Bible studies. This fun packed week concludes with an overnight horse trip where campers will cook over an open fire and use their saddles as their pillows (only if they really want to). All night rides and the overnight take place in the Nicolet National Forest.

Taking you back to the days of free range ranching, RA campers will spend their week housed in a real teepee, located on the grounds of Silver Birch Ranch. The base camp of the RA camp is located near the stables and has a bathhouse nearby.
